The bands start at ∞ o’clock

The title of this post says it all really. Early discussions with bands and crew led to general agreement on an early DJ warm-up with the first of our two live acts hitting the stage at ten. That’s been changed. The first DJ still drops the bomb at seven and then the first band begins playing on the stage at eight. After an interval the second band will be performing at nine-thirty.

The reasoning behind this development is the following: We’ve decided that the biggest competition for live music in this town is the pubs having bands playing between seven and eleven. It’s attendees of those events the club’s management wishes to attract as well as the bands’ fans.

A longer set by the DJs, playing techno tag between two rooms, will therefore start earlier (around eleven) and go on ’til two.
